Aging gracefully

I found some old hair magazines, some of which go back to 1992. I found this picture of Hunter Tylo from "The Bold & the Beautiful" from the Winter 1992 edition of Soap Star Hairstyles. She is absolutely smoldering!



Then I went online and found this picture of her that I'm assuming is more recent. Holy cow! She doesn't even look the same. Her skin texture has gotten bad, her lips are much larger, her mouth is wider across her face and her eyes are higher in the outer corners. She looks like she is re-entering Earth's atmosphere!



She is, of course, still a VERY beautiful woman. She just hasn't aged as gracefully as one would have thought she would.

Work them abs!

Aaahhh . . . internet at last! We recently relocated and it took FOREVER to get our internet turned on.

With the New Year quickly approaching, I realize that many of us will set New Year's resolutions to lose weight or to get in shape. I just want to share my experience with a new video from Jillian Michaels of "The Biggest Loser". The video is called "Killer Abs". I started out doing the first workout twice a week (There are 3 complete workouts on the disc). In the first week alone, I lost an inch off of my midsection. That's right . . . I lost an inch off my waist after doing this workout only twice. AH-MAZING. I highly recommend this workout if you want to see quick results.

If you decide to give this workout a try, just be aware that it is a difficult but effective workout. You'll want to start out slow and ONLY do what you can. You don't have to start out doing a workout perfectly. You should always just do the best you can. You will still see results. Stick with whatever workout you decide to do but be patient.

Cuter than the blue shoes

I found something cuter than the little blue shoes . . . The line-dancing Geico gecko. I am NOT a Geico customer but I love that little gecko. If I could adopt him, I so totally would!

I had started following a blog . . . no155.blogspot.com but it has since been removed. Does anyone know what happened to it? Has it been moved somewhere else?

Made in where?!?!?!

As I lounged on the pot yesterday (Yes I know, TMI), I glanced down at the inner label on my Levi's. It said "Made in Mexico". I did a double-take. What in the world?!?!?! It did indeed say "Made in Mexico".

I was disappointed. I always liked Levi's because I thought they were made in the USA. I guess in the future, I will be looking at my labels a little more closely (not that every label in my closet says that it's made in the USA). I just feel that Levi's has always been touted as an American brand so it should actually be made in the USA. That's all I'm saying.

Such a lovely picture

This picture is from a Louis Vuitton ad featuring Angelina Jolie. I thought it was such a lovely picture. I believe it was taken in Cambodia. She isn't wearing any makeup. She went au naturel. Personally, I think it looks like she is made up but what do I know. BTW, love the hair.

What a lazy bum!

Wow! Have I been a lazy bum or what??? I have not posted on my blog in over a month. What a deadbeat I am!

When I begin updating again in the coming days, I will be posting pictures not just from my Royal Wedding tea party but also from a tea party I had with 2 little girlfriends of mine. so stay tuned. It was alot of fun!

One more thing before I go to sleep . . .

I just wanted to say one more thing before I go to sleep and it is this - MEAN PEOPLE SUCK! Why do people have to be mean? Isn't life hard enough?
